ARPA is an assistant that uses Artificial Intelligence and scientific evidence to ensure maximum safety for the anesthesiologist, the patient and the hospital in preoperative evaluation, as well as to minimize administrative tasks for clinicians.
ARPA assists the professional during the preoperative evaluation, who will make the most appropriate clinical decisions for each patient.
ARPA was developed as part of an excellent European R&D framework programme project “Horizon 2020”, which obtained the support and funding of the European Commission. The project was structured around a multidisciplinary European consortium of anesthesiologists with more than 30 years of experience, nurses, engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, lawyers and data privacy specialists. Subsequently, ARPA was validated for months in a real hospital environment, prior to its commercial launch.
“This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 691556”.
